Check out Jeff's earlier articles on circle hooks, they really helped me. Couple of points that can get missed - point the rod at the taking fish and use a hook size that allows the hook point to remain clear - both has made a big difference.

https://A fool at one end...https://www.blogger.com/profile/14483360794963042016noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9197778115917889421.post-5553878709570468772018-02-12T19:13:35.640+00:002018-02-12T19:13:35.640+00:00Just remember not to strike..Just remember not to strike..Bureboybloghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06517207672662059349noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9197778115917889421.post-59586079639854613432018-01-29T18:43:00.506+00:002018-01-29T18:43:00.506+00:00Are you still actively fishing? Are you still actively fishing?timnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9197778115917889421.post-17410240536173114332018-01-14T07:53:42.355+00:002018-01-14T07:53:42.355+00:00Nice to have you back...Nice to have you back...A fool at one end...https://www.blogger.com/profile/14483360794963042016noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9197778115917889421.post-63123008373389235922018-01-12T15:25:58.085+00:002018-01-12T15:25:58.085+00:00I'll dig about in the archive, Dave.
